Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift is an American country and pop singer-songwriter. The stories of Taylor Swift's songs tell the story of heartbreak and loss for a young girl. Swift showed an interest in music at an early age and she progressed quickly from roles in children's theatre until her first performance before an audience of tens of thousands. Swift in 2011, then 11, sang The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. In the year following, Swift began writing her own music. Swift took inspiration from artists from the country genre, such as Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks and now the Chicks to come up with original songs that expressed the apathy she experienced at 13 years old. Swift's family moved into Tennessee from Pennsylvania at the age of thirteen so she could spend longer pursuing country music labels in Nashville.
